School for Scoundrels...decent comedy... another one of those that not many people laughed at, and I found myself laughing when it was silent.. 7/10

The Guardian

Well made flick, but I was disappointed with the ending.

Read some reviews of the Guardian and I think too many critics forget that sometimes you want an artsy movie, sometimes you want a good fun flick.

Saw one critic who said sometimes you just want a movie that you can grab a large tub of popcorn and relax and enjoy, not feel or think
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

I read some reviews of the Guardian too and almost didn't go to see it until I read your post Rocketer and remembered how dumb critics can be. I'm glad I went, it was a good movie.

Re: Last movie you watched

It seems like a lot of movies on here get a 9/10 or 10/10 rating. So are we saying that these movies are on par with movies such as The Godfather, Forrest Gump , Saving Private Ryan, Casablanca, It's a Wonderful Life, etc? Yes i understand that there are different types of movies and that JackA$$ getting a 10/10 shouldn't be compared to those, but seriously some of these movies would love to have critics like us.
